We advocate for Northern records. Our work on this front is most concretely laid out in our 2023 publication, Remotely Useful: Practical Lessons for Northern Community Archiving, a free resource that we published with the Council on Library and Information Resources.
In addition to promoting community-led practices for keeping Northern records, we contribute to broader conversations on all things related to records and the North. We often speak publicly about our work in this field and are always happy to share our knowledge in talks, interviews and workshops.
As advocated for Northern records, we are also committed to fining the right home for Northern records. If you are looking to donate materials to Labrador archives and communities, we can help you find the right home. Them Days and the Labrador Campus are great places to start. There are also many others!
