Jamie Jackman is a founding member and lyricist of the multi-award-winning folk-rock group Silver Wolf Band. Born and mostly raised in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, he is of mixed Inuit and settler descent, with strong family ties to the community of Hopedale, Nunatsiavut. He lives in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, where he is currently working toward an interdisciplinary Master’s Degree at the Labrador Campus of Memorial University.
