Our love for Northern books extends beyond our own titles! We advocate for Northern writers and books in the North.
In spring 2024 we were very happy to help launch the Words of Warmth Literary Festival in Happy Valley-Goose Bay to do just this, contributing to proposing and developing the concept and playing a leading role on the committee to organize and deliver festival events. Words of Warmth is funded by ArtsNL through a Year of the Arts grant to the Eastern Labrador Arts Alliance.
