Mark David Turner is a cultural historian, writer, and musician from the island of Newfoundland who lives in Toronto. For more than fifteen years, he has worked with communities and cultural organizations across Labrador and the Circumpolar North, particularly in Nunatsiavut. His work brings together archives, film, music, publishing, and public engagement.
Mark edited the award-winning Inuit TakugatsaliuKatiget | On Inuit Cinema (Memorial University Press 2022) and is co-author, with Morgen Mills, of Labrador Cinema.
